Reed’s Marine Project

In the movie “To Sir, With Love” the lead song said, “How do you thank someone for taking you from crayons to perfume?”  Similarly, how do we thank Jorndt-Fahey Remodeling, LLC for taking us from dilapidated 1950’s to New Century Nantucket?

Jorndt-Fahey did everything for us and exceeded our expectations at every step.  We thought that we knew exactly what we wanted; but, they showed us how to imagine so much more.  They initiated the concept, designed it architecturally and then created our masterpiece.  We couldn’t be more pleased with Jorndt-Fahey Remodeling, LLC.

They fascinated us with their ideas, performed each step on time and overcame all problems quickly and properly.  The remodel they did for us is structurally sound and looks great.  What more could we ask? 

Bryan, Dan and Doug were always pleasant to deal with, hard-working, meticulous and honest; any concerns were dealt with immediately and taken care of properly.  We’ve dealt with a lot of contractors over the 40 years we’ve been here and Jorndt-Fahey was the best!  We are very happy we chose them.

SevenOaks Project

Jorndt-Fahey Remodeling, LLC was an easy choice for our project!  They had previously built the home of one of our partners, who was extremely pleased with the finished project!  The SevenOaks project; however, was very unique!  We had purchased a motel, originally constructed in the early 1950's, that was comprised of seven separate buildings and a 3,500 sq. ft. residential family home, which would also function as office, laundry and kitchen for the new inn, and, all in need of total remodeling.  In addition, two new units for rental were to be constructed.  

Douglas, Bryan and Dan work incredibly well together…each focusing on a different aspect of this vast project.  We were faced with the renewal of a 50 year old sewer system.  Dan acted as a liaison with the utilities and his input was crucial.  His experience in the industry helped guide us through the complex processes involved in this kind of project.

We were under an extremely challenging timeline to get the business up and running for the tourist season, which would bring in valuable revenue for a new Inn.  Jorndt-Fahey Remodeling, LLC did not let us down.  We were able to move into our home in plenty of time to be involved in the final stages of completion, which was absolutely superb!

This project was a great learning experience for us and we really appreciated the way Doug Bryan and Dan were "hands on" all along the way.  We had an excellent working relationship with them that enabled us to have honest two-way communication all along the way.   No ideas were “bad” ideas and any changes were agreed upon and, generally, for the better.  Without a doubt, we would recommend Jorndt /Fahey for any construction or remodeling project you may have. It isn't just the professionalism of the team and their "can do" approach when working on the project that count; it is the planning that they do before work commences: sourcing the best materials and using their suppliers and contacts to get the very best prices.  In addition, the “after care” service is very much a part of their philosophy.  Even though our project finished more than two years ago, we still feel comfortable calling Doug, Bryan or Dan for help with any matters that inevitably arise when undertaking a construction project of this size.
